Little Rock
Pops on the River

Arkansas’s largest Independence Day celebration featuring the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra performing patriotic music followed by the state’s largest fireworks display over the Arkansas River. This iconic event has been celebrating America’s independence for over 35 years and draws thousands of visitors to downtown Little Rock’s River Market District.
The festival includes multiple music performances, food trucks, and a vendor marketplace. Military members can visit the Military Appreciation Tent to receive giveaways and discount cards. Arrive early for the best parking and seating areas.
Fort Smith
Mayor’s 4th of July Celebration

Lake Hamilton Independence Day Fireworks Display

The annual free public Independence Day fireworks display shot from the middle of Lake Hamilton from barges located on the east side of Highway 7 at the first Highway 7 bridge opposite the Doubletree Hot Springs, synced with music on radio station 97.5 FM US97 Country. This spectacular display can be viewed from both land and water, making it one of Arkansas’s most unique fireworks experiences.
In case of rain, the fireworks will be rescheduled for Saturday evening, July 5. The lake setting provides an unforgettable backdrop as the fireworks reflect off the water’s surface.
