Disc Golf in Sapulpa, Oklahoma

In the southwestern corner of the Tulsa metropolitan area lies an often overlooked disc golf community. Sapulpa is known for its historic downtown shopping district and strong Route 66 ties, but it’s also the home of some small disc golf courses that might be worth a visit.

Sapulpa Disc Golf Courses

Whether you’re a new arrival to Sapulpa and wondering where you can play, or you’re new to disc golf altogether and just want to get started, Sapulpa has the course for you.

Kelly Lane Park

1151 South Park Street, Sapulpa, OK 74066

The Kelly Lane Park disc golf course is the oldest in Sapulpa, opening in 2005, and was designed by Dave Zucconi and Kevin McCoy. It’s located inside a beautiful 69-acre public park with playgrounds, a skate park, dog park, walking trail, fishing ponds, foot golf, and more.

The mid-length nine hole checks in at 3,317 feet for an average of 368 and a very friendly par of 36. Most of the holes are fairly open, with a fair amount of mature trees, a creek, and a few ponds coming into play. There are also heavily wooded roughs that can be punishing.

The course includes concrete tees, signage, and Mach 3 baskets.

The Flats At Liberty Park

Liberty Park offers a beginner-level nine-hole course that’s perfect for ace runs and up-shot practice. Established in 2016 and designed by Jessie Crawford, this course features DGA baskets and natural tees with an average hole length of 220 ft.

Liberty Park is a great destination for kids thanks to a new playground, a covered picnic shelter, restrooms, picnic tables and grills, a walking trail, a basketball court, sand volleyball courts, a pickleball court, a tennis court, a splash pad, and the Sapulpa Aquatics Center.

John Christner Trucking

This private company-owned course was opened in 2021 as an employee perk and features nine holes at an average length of 269 ft. The course is fairly open with large mature trees, punishing roughs, beautiful fairways, concrete tees, and Dynamic Patriot baskets.
